I haven't been on the forum for a few weeks....my deit and overeating was out of control,I was eating far too many junk food takeways,pizza,fish and chips with curry sauce,chocolate,biscuits,cake...I was gaining a lot of weight.The last five days I am back under control,I am using myfitnesspal and controling my calorie intake to between 1200 to 1500 a day and not going above 1500.I am also lifting weights and I plan to do more walking outside,my sister is giving me a walker with wheels so it will be easier on my back and to stop and rest outside,I want to be able to walk to the local shop and back!
I am reading a book A Course In Weight Loss,Spiritual Lessons in weight loss, by Marianne Williamson.She says in order to eat well you have to love yourself,the junk foods we convince ourself are good for us which are actually bad for us we'd never eat them if we truly loved ourselves.it is really helping me to stay on track.
That and the fact the diabetic nurse said I will definitely have kidney disease if my blood sugars aren't kept low constantly not to mention the threat to my eye sight.
So I am due a weigh in and I will see what I weigh on friday and if I have lost any weight.I want to lose 10 stone thats 140 in a year.
