What a good question, 2013.

This has been a HUGE issue for me, since the things I really love and want to do, I have zero talent for. In addition, my biological father didn't help by constantly stressing that unless you had a genius for something and could pick it up and excel the first time you tried it, you might as well give up as there was really no point in trying.

At this point I've made the decision to keep trying to do the things that really sing to me, with the idea that those are the things i'm interested in, and not everyone can be at the top of the heap.
