It was in May on a very rainy spring day. We were married in my lifelong best friend's house. It was a lovely little wedding.
Anyway...what do I still have left? Our album of wedding pictures. I think that's all I have. The veil my sister had made for me was pretty, but it started discoloring and falling apart some years ago unfortunately, so I threw it out.
My wedding dress was "tea length" (a few inches above my ankle). It was the most beautiful color! The color was called "candle glow" and it was the softest peachy glow...almost not there, but just a warm glow.
My heart was broken when, 5 years ago, I was the victim of a home invasion (yes...terrifying, to say the least). They stole just about everything, including my lovely wedding dress.
So I consider myself lucky to have saved the photographs.

Omg your house was robbed too! I had literally everything stolen. It’s so violating. Sorry you had that experience
