You know... I'm an old man (well... sort-of... it's a long story.) But I can remember when girl-watching was simply something guys did. It was even celebrated in song:

Now it's something men feel embarrassed about & feel they have to find a way to stop. Oh well... times change.

What I do when there's something (or someone) I feel the urge to look at, but don't want to, is I look in some other direction. I then focus my attention on that urge to look I'm experiencing and I breathe into it perhaps even smiling to myself in the process. And I just continue doing this until whatever, or whoever, it was I felt the urge to look at has passed. It's a variation on a Buddhist practice called: "compassionate abiding".
