What's your thoughts on it @ The people who were recommending/reading it?

My thoughts on it are:

It grasps at the truths of the meaning of human suffering and its relationship to meaning.

It details a psychiatrist's journey through concentration camps and Nazi Germany to finding what makes life worth living.

It's not a linear path, and I don't think the book was intended to be one. Rather, it shows by way of example and also through other means, why life matters.

He discusses the concept of logotherapy -- which is essentially "meaning"-therapy.

I thought it was a worthwhile read for those reasons. It's also fairly short as far as impactful books go.

Hopefully that will help you determine whether you want to read it or not.
