Uhh.. why does it say, "the U.S. will agree that a sentence of 48 months of imprisonment, followed by four years of supervised release is the appropriate sentence in this case."???

He prescribed drugs in exchange for sexual photos and prescribed non-psych meds, as well as overprescribing stimulants.

I am no legal professional, but how the heck does he get only 4 years in prison for that? Usually doctors get at least 10 years for that! And you know if your former pdoc displays "good behavior," he will probably get out in 2. Also, if he was already imprisoned awaiting trial, he may get out in less than 2. To me, that seems like a slap on the wrist.

Sorry your former pdoc did these reckless things though. I can imagine it is shocking. I have a cousin who did unspeakable things and it shocked me. Sometimes people who we think we know well actually lead shady second lives. It's horrible.
