Hey there, MA! Thank you for your update. You're inspiring to me, that's for sure.
I'm really happy to hear that better things are happening. Good news on your pdoc. As for the new therapist I would definitely tell her if I felt the way you do. You know...that you like her, but it feels odd to you because she looks confused by you. Little things like that can mean a lot in therapy. It's so important that she knows how you feel.
I'm wondering if your pdoc or especially your therapist could refer you to some resources as far as housing and such. Sometimes they have good info (sometimes it's outdated).
I think the motel idea is a good one. I'm sure you could use the rest, especially in an a/c'ed room so you don't have to walk in stores without ever relaxing. Plus, having the bathroom facility would be so much easier.
Seroquel. I know it definitely helps many people. In a tiny dose it does provide me with excellent sleep. Other than that...I was on Seroquel for 7 years and even at a decently high dose it didn't do anything for me. Nothing at all, except cause me to gain much weight. I ended up with metabolic syndrome from it, so my blood pressure is high, glucose is high, cholesterol is high. I'm angry with myself for not refusing to stop Seroquel, for remaining on it all those years.
But I do not do well with the atypical AP's. The older AP's are always more helpful for me.
I hope some others have more optimistic Seroquel experiences to share.
Please keep us posted on how you're doing. You are definitely in my prayers, and I'm sending you excellent vibes
