I haven't been here in a while, it's acutally 9 months since I've last cut! I have a question and hopefully someone has an answer. I have some long wide scars down both of my forearms, some are still pink/purple, some have faded but are still quite noticeable. I have a 12 and 14 year old. I would like to find something for them to say to their friends if/when they ask about it. I try to hide it, but can't very well wear long sleeves all the time (like when it's 90 degrees!).
I'm looking for some explanation other than the whole truth, something to just say and blow it off. Also, I know there are some self injury web sites, but I can't think of the names. If you could help me out with them I'd be grateful.
