Why not try Intermittent Fasting? I would also recommend Keto.

I actually found out that keto (or long periods without insulin) increases your metabolic rate. Seriously. It turns out insulin tells your cells to conserve energy but when insulin is taken away, they "waste" energy. In fact I found a blog yesterday that talked about how their used to be a pill that told your cells to do this... this pill worked wonders for weight loss in the 20s, but it ended up harming people.

So if you spend 18 hours a day with insulin flowing in your body, you will have a slower metabolism for those 18 hours. They key to weight loss is turning out not to be "eat less exercise more" but keep your body free of insulin (which is a storage hormone).
