Personally, my mood stays somewhat the same through the day and my mood doesn’t effect my anxiety too much. However, every so often there are factors out of my control. My mood may be unstable, my anxiety high and life stressors pile on top of it all. This is a recipe for disaster. When too much is out of my own control, my anxiety escalates.

Dealing with stress is easier for me because I can easily turn my attention to a new set of tasks or a fun or special project. I do need to remind myself to slow down. Daily, I practice ways to keep focus. If I need to remind myself to keep pace, I give myself those reminders. I try to remember that it is ok to build up to a goal or set of goals and that no one is perfect.
