I don’t think it’s a good idea to confront your boss. I don’t know if it’s even a good idea to address the issue at all, if it opens a can of worms that potentially backfires on you.

You know he has it in for you and you don’t know why. But, meanwhile, your asserting your accomplishments have added to your records evidence toward a promotion and you are getting any raise you would have anyway.
