Congratulations on your new provider and your diagnosis. I know it can feel incredibly empowering to have that information and also to have the validation from someone else about our struggles.

I can't comment on Adderall. My stimulant medication is Vyvanse. But if you're interested in what that's been like for me I'm happy to share. I will say that it's important to be honest about what you want the medication to do and find out what the reality of what it can do is. Sometimes we want things from medicine that it can't offer. We still have to take time to find ways to learn new skills and ways of managing our symptoms. I'd highly recommend some of the Podcasts and resources out there including the "How to ADHD" Youtube channel.
