Today is my review meeting. I am nervous. I have written out exactly what I will say in response IF he does not include all of my achievements.
This is what I plan to say:
Thank you, Keith. I know this review takes a lot of effort and time, which I fully appreciate. However, my achievements from the last year are not fully or accurately portrayed in this review, and they should be. You may have forgotten many of my achievements since you have to review every single one of my reports, so I've pulled together a summary in preparation of this meeting. Can I send my document to you, and are you willing to include the successes I've highlighted? I'd be most grateful and appreciative if you would.
IF HE SAYS NO…..
Ok, then unfortunately, I will have to bring the issue to HR if you are not willing to include all of my achievements. That means I am not being recognized & acknowledged for the true value that I have brought to my clients and to the company, and it's very important to me that Mark is fully aware of ALL of my achievements and the value that I bring.
