I am sorry to hear you got laid off. However, as someone who has been laid off, I can tell you that a job does not define you as a person. I learned a new language while I was not working. I am sure you will find another job which may be more suitable for you. As I can tell by reading your messages, you weren't happy in your job anyways. So, it may be to your benefit to have the opportunity to find a job which makes you happy. I work to survive and have a job which I find enjoyable now. But, it is not perfect and probably won't last until I can retire. I will be like you looking for another job soon. I am thinking of becoming a real estate agent here. However, my passing the test for the real estate license will take some time for me. As you can see, jobs come and go for some people, but life continues.
