I am sorry you had the experience of feeling judged. Perhaps it isn't exactly the right support group for you? What about a codependency support group that is not faith based?

Maybe I was being too harsh in saying they expect people to be perfect... But to me, it seems like too much striving for perfection if it’s expected that you are not going to have issues at times.
