In primary ages 5-12 you're routinely given homeworker the next day be it reading, pulling or maths. Although I always had tears at homework time as I had a learning disability and it was tough.

In secondary 12-18 years I found it to be decent. As much as I hate homework I'm not academic. My parents left me alone especially when it came to revision for exams. I had a routine for exam prep and I spent most of my time revising in the school library or my bedroom.

I don't know if kids have it harder or easier than i did as I don't have kids and my Nephew is only 8 and in Primary 3 at school. His is mostly writing, reading, spelling and maths
