I'll share what works for me and if it helps, great and if not, just disregard.
I enjoy going out to a local mall and having a meal and doing a crosswords puzzle. It gives me a change of scenery. It's low-stress because i've been going to this mall for twenty years and it's super easy to get to on public transit. It gives me a break from this apartment and my dog. I enjoy people-watching and it gives some of the benefits of socializing without actually having to talk to anyone. It makes me appreciate my home more. I don't really like to spend the entire day here. I feel like something's happened in my day.
Maybe find some similar low-stress activity that works for you?
