As far as festive holidays, I suppose Christmases used to be my favorite as a kid. I also really liked Christmas Eves early in my marriage and when my parrots were with us. [They loved opening presents
] As far as favorite holiday in terms of the American "vacation", it was one spent with my husband in southern Portugal.
