I took the day off today. I had made a dental appointment on Saturday some time ago, but decided to do it today instead.

Today was a weird day and some things didn't go well. The dentist was a disappointment. First of all I called the dentist office just before going there at 10 for a quick question. Then the receptionist told me that the appointment at 10 was for Saturday. I thought that I had confirmed that it was today. I rescheduled for a later time, but then got called back and they could take me a little bit earlier. I had saved my correspondence by email to the dentist office from a couple of days ago and it turned out that I was right.

Then I got with the dentist and it turns out I need a couple of crowns. It's been a good while since I needed major work. Also the dentist didn't seem like himself. He's a very cheerful kind of guy but today he didn't seem that way. Something seemed off. Maybe it's because of the virus thing. He was telling me that things have been rough.

After that I went shopping and it seemed like I paid more than I anticipated. And then I went to a gas station to pay a little bit more because it's the only station that has a car wash; and it's a bit out of my way. Well the car wash was out of order. I ended up paying for a car wash that I will use later.
