I love my children dearly and I do worry that they will inherit my bipolar. I wouldn't wish what I've been through on anybody. My eldest- almost 23- has alread had two stays inpatient at the local mental hospital. It is so hard on me knowing my child is It's so hard from the other side! Soooo hard.

That said, I am glad I had my children. I had them years before I was diagnosed so its a moot point as to whether I would've had another had I known. I am now 48 and had my tubes tied so more children are not in the cards for me. I'm glad I had the three I have.
