thanks everyone. sorry i've been a little slow in posting an update. i am just struggling with all that is happening....

I learned a couple things from my appt with the Thoracic doctor.

1) I have inflammation in my chest wall (front part of rib cage, around the sternum);
[doesn't know how long it will be there or the cause]
2) treatment for that would probably be corticosteroid injections in the joints around the sternum;

3) two of the three lumps i've noticed are something he called traumatic arthritis - meaning they didn't heal properly or completely and a 'lump' formed as it healed, which causes pain because things aren't 'lined up properly or working smoothly'.
[ since this is in my front upper rib cage, it means pain from simply things like moving or stretching the arm]

this is only 'part' of the puzzle, as there is at least one other thing going on with my torso/body. [adding new symptoms has me quite nervous]

more will be posted here:
what would you do
Hugs from:

Thanks for this!
