I have been trying to get out of some funds that are part of my 401K retirement package. I have been trying since AUGUST!

I understand that it's not easy to get the paperwork to someone to sign, if I'm moving around a lot. I understand that my reps had 3 hurricanes and the aftermath to deal with August and September.

But 6 months!!!!

I called earlier this week, left an address where the paperwork might be sent -- no response.

Today I called my agent, left the usual message -- with one little addition. "I guess I have no choice but to notify the appropriate securities regulatory agency about this unresponsiveness," I closed.

My agent was on the phone with minutes and an appointment has been set up for an hour and a half from now. Oh, what a little threat with federal agency force behind it can do.
