Yesterday got worse - I really wanted to drink and added nausea to my list of withdrawal symptoms. I was throwing up constantly.
I wound up calling and unloading on some friends, and also called the distress centre, Talking to people helped. Then last night I went to an on-line recovery meeting, and that helped a lot.
Today I'm still feeling pretty crappy although I'm at least sort of keeping stuff down. I have a couple of zoom meetings to go to today and otherwise I think today is just going to be about taking it easy and recovering some more so that hopefully by tomorrow, I'll be able to do the cleaning that I need to do so that I can list my apartment room for rent.

Do you think it would be better to drop by a half milligram instead? Risperidone is pretty powerful stuff. I don't know if you and your doctor would be comfortable going down by a half milligram instead -- to 4.5 mg or something instead of to 4 mg? Then after that, you could reassess whether you think it'd be good to go down to 4 mg. Just an idea.
