I know stage makeup is a little weird but that is what I get for being a drama nerd LOL. It does work on older scars and newer ones..that is actually how I came across the idea. I have a nice sized scar on my knee from playing tag when I was little so I figured if the makeup could cover up a tattoo why couldn't cover up a scar. I used it to cover up it up for prom last year and nobody noticed. If your going to use stage makeup you'll want to get a personal kit..they run about 16 dollars but will last for years. You start out with the darker base, cover with the lighter one that comes in the tray and then powder. I use long sleeves alot in the summer just because the makeup is a little time consuming.
