Love-love-love it. I am an astronomy buff. In particular I love knowing about where the planets are and seeing them. Summer is a great time for planets. Right now Venus rises and you can see it until dawn. Mars is also "near" the moon early in the morning and at night Saturn looks like its below Mars, at least where I am. Vega is very bright this time of year with a blueish tint. Its part of the "summer triangle" part of Cygnus too. The way Saturn appears if you could trace underneath it, it appears to be "on top" of the constelltion Sagittarius ( the archer) Casseiopia is a good constellation to see, it looks like a stretched out W.

We remind each other to take note every full moon, and for the last supermoon, he came over and we sat and watched the moon rise up over the trees. We both missed Neowise but we can't see them all. We've been this way ever since we saw Ad Astra...well, at least our passion joined as one (we've always loved the moon and the stars and space).

It's a little early for me to watch the meteor shower but in five minutes I saw 6 satellites in the sky. I'm going to wait until midnight before grabbing a blanket and watch the show.

Do you enjoy star gazing?
