hi riptide..... ive heard visualization and meditation techniques can motivate us if practiced over time...

simply imagine yourself doing an activity you'd like to be doing.... play the sequence of events in your mind like a movie... imagine the details.. are you on a bike? ride the bike in your inner movie for awhile....

practice and maybe you will find yourself doing it? sounds good in theory i guess..
