Hormones? Water weight? Dint you have something pretty salty - the instant ramen. Do you use the packets? Most ramen is like ONE pack is 1 or 2000 g sodium, which is a whole days allowance. Plus sometimes they say they are 2 servings per packet, so you think they are lower in sodium.

My rule of thumb is number of Calories = grams of Sodium. Fresh fruit and veg are very low sodium, so they give you leeway to go double or triple sodium on some food items during the day, but you dont want to go crazy with it. I dont really count, i just aim to eat some plain food when i do ramen.
