Nearly all episodes are mixed. If i start depressed or mania (hypo) I'm nearly certain to pop into mixed. With clozapine I don't have many episodes though.

I get an annual mixed episode in summer that is quickly controlled by increased clozapine. This year I feel like I'm having a 2nd but I think it is really situational stuff. I still may see about a few days of increased clozapine to see if I can knock it down. This year I also had a depression that was situation that responded well to a brief increase in my antidepressant and a hypo that responded well to lowering my AD. Both of those were situational I think.

Without clozapine I would be mixed about 85% of the time.
