I think he's a good doctor but I'm ruminating on something small. My anxiety kicking in.
I was really surprised he mentioned it because the letter was dropped off a week or more previous to my appointment. When he said thanks for the lovely letter, my assistant showed it to me, I responded "the one mentioning trauma? " Him: Yeah thanks for saying that.
Different. It kind of disgusts me people would treat you differently for some reason.

'Different' between the two sentences?? Maybe it came out awkward, or he thought the letter was different (trauma part of it) because he never received this type of letter before?
Sometimes I can ruminate on small silly stuff in conversations.
