This is where life gets tricky. I 100% agree it’s a violation of privacy and respect for the other person. Private messages are meant to be held between those involved only. It’s no one else’s business.

That said, I know tons of people who screenshot texts or private messages for “receipts” to send to others and use against people. It is childish and truly despicable. I hate that our society has somehow made that commonplace and acceptable. Much like rumors/gossiping is in a small town. It’s why I hate people.

So, just saying to say it — 100% agree with you, but the world isn’t gonna change. You gotta learn to protect yourself from what shouldn’t even be an issue. Morality is a mess these days.
