I wanted to give you a response since no one else is. It's hard for some in the depression forums to help? I think? It sounds very tough. It sounds like you understand things with high intellect and your perception. But to read farther, all I can say is you can never know what is really behind your dad or moms decisions in life. You continue doing your best to help, care for your own needs, but otherwise I dont know what to say. If your dad finds comfort in his religion, I'd say let him be. If you're afraid to help what you perceive to be a neurotic mother, then don't help.

Do you have your own place to live? It may come down to doing that soon, as it seems your needs cant be met at home.
