I thought it would, too. It sure didn't for me, though...and I know it doesn't for most people. I'm 57; when I was 48 my BD turned really vicious. For example, I had not had any paranoia before age 48. Suddenly, I did/do.
Maybe if someone with BD lives to be 70+ symptoms decrease? I don't know. I hope so.
