Yes, in snapping turtle soup. My father even caught them on rare occasions so my mother could make it from scratch. I confess that it is far from my favorite soup. The spices used are too strong for my taste, sort of like tripe soup. And the meat texture is not my favorite.
Innerzone, I ate octopus in France yesterday afternoon. I liked the dish. I've eaten it before that, too, but only like it prepared certain ways.
Can you filet a fish or cut up a chicken?
