Pookyl, all the best with your upcoming surgery. My sister had one and she has kept a lot of the weight off that she lost afterwards. Sometimes she has to get back on track again, though. It's been at least five years since she had the surgery.

Unbelievably, my eating hasn't been that bad during my vacation so far. I think. We'll see. In any case, I have been doing a ton of walking. It's been hot where I am. About 30 C, which is about 86 F. I'm used to such temps during the summers where I live, but not in September. But where I am now, temps don't get nearly as cold in the winters.
