To get your health insurance to cover the cost of your skin removal surgery, you and your doctor have to medically prove that the surgery is necessary to improve your health. Also, your insurance company will have partial coverage for "body lift" expenses if you meet certain criteria.

I have rosacea on my nose. And my nose is growing, known as rhinophyma. Eventually, I'll need a "laser" dermatologist to shave it down to its normal size. So, when that time comes, I'll have to review my health insurance's policies on rhinophyma surgery coverage because without insurance it can cost as high as $6,000.
