Sorry you're dealing with this. First, have you contacted your insurance company directly? It could be an issue with someone at your insurance company, as we've had some problems with things being randomly rejected lately for not including certain information, when they didn't need that info in the past (and there's not even a spot on the reimbursement form for it!) Or there was a time in the past where someone at the insurance company keyed something in with the wrong year, then denied it, because they said I'd waited a year to submit it. When, I hadn't even been seeing that therapist a year before...

Also, have you tried talking to your actual counselor about it? They might be able to talk to the billing person on your behalf. It's also possible that your counselor messed up a code in your chart or in what they passed along to the billing person. Or if they don't know what the problem is, maybe they could let you carry a balance on your account for a bit while the insurance company resolves the issue. Hope you can get it figured out!
