I tried to speak like this for a minute “divine (obviously I used my real name) is so tired this week she is ready to go to bed at 9:30pm”. It made me laugh. I think it’s harmless but it felt weird. Kind of freaked me out.

Although I realize now I occasionally speak like this to my daughter (mommy loves you or mommy misses you). But not always. Usually I speak in first person. I’ve no idea why I’d say it like that in third person

I am sure it’s not a mental illness
