I know NOTHING about medication, but I think it may be pretty bad for you to quit cold turkey like that. I think it's best to taper down.
That being said, just want to let you know that not all things require medication. I have been in therapy for 1.5 years now for Depression and have never taken a pill. I have worked hard and it has not been easy, but you can get better without medication.
I know medication works for lots of people, and many people need it, but, from personal experience, it is possible to get better without them (assuming you have something like depression or anxiety). One of the reasons I chose not to go on meds was because of weight gain. And in the end, I'm glad I chose the road I did.
