It's pretty clear why mine are there but I think it's a question of nosy people....maybe it depends on where you live? I get comments and stares from adults a lot. Many people stare as though no one is watching. It's embarassing for the both of us when I stare back haha. Was speaking with this girl who was born without a right hand and she would get the same reactions!! It's a relief when you can comfortably conceal them.
