As I mentioned, I went to the eye doctor yesterday. Knowledge is power! First, the “boatload of medications” I’m on is making my eyes bone dry. Second, they are impacting my vision. It’s true that I have severe myopia but the medications don’t help. He won’t do surgery because the interaction of the medications would cause a poor outcome. For right now they can make better glasses and they have special contacts. Later on, they can do surgery to replace the human lens in my eyes.

My dentist said two days before that the medications were causing dry mouth.

I’m guilty of taking the medications that my psychiatric practitioners prescribe without doing proper research on side effects and what it’s doing to my body. I plan to be more diligent in the future.

I feel better know that I know what is going on.
