Kiearacat, welcome to PC, 8 years ago I didn’t really know what autism is at all then found I almost have it, since I have nonverbal learning disorder. To be certain you have high functioning autism a psychologist or psychiatrist would interview you and also ask your mom questions about how you developed when a young child, for example, when did you start talking, etc. They would ask if you have special interests, etc.

Also you can check online or at Psych Central for Autism or High Functioning Autism questionnaires that have anywhere from 25-50 questions to help see if you may possibly have autism.
