Hugs, Artie, that would bother me as well. My T will talk to me about exercise (including yesterday), but in the sense of it helping my mental health and sleep (plus physical health). If he sent me something unsolicited about a diet, I'd be really offended. I would tell your T how it made you feel--I'd think maybe an email rather than waiting until session.
