Breaking Dawn, that's great that your self-talk helped. I've done a lot of reading on the importance of positive self-talk. Sometimes I like to listen to audio files with positive messages as though I'm saying it to myself. It makes a big difference. I've read a lot of Shad Helmstettor. Don't know if you're familiar with him. He has some great books on the subject.
Today I'm less anxious. I haven't been watching as much of the news. And I think I slept fairly well. I plan to get more sleep and do some relaxing stuff today.
