A good friend came over yesterday. We hung out, ate lunch, lots of sweets, chatted on the porch and just all around had a good time. I almost never go out anymore, so it's so nice to have this occasional socializing.
I talked to my mom last night and she's not doing well. Her MS has suddenly taken a turn for the worse and her legs aren't working. She's very very depressed. She has 24/7 care because of the MS and, more recently, a fall that led to an ankle fracture, and she said she can't take it anymore, all of the different people coming in and out and some of them she really doesn't like. Her moods have been intense and really up and down, but I'm not sure I've ever heard so depressed as she was last night. I'm very concerned.

Is there any way any kind of treatment can help improve your mom's legs? I'm so sorry she is dealing with MS. My husband's best friend's mom had it, and I knew a guy at my old job who got it, too.
I'm glad you had a pleasant social outing yesterday.
