My surgery went decently. They did have to intubate me they said it was just routine for general anesthesia. The first thing I said when they woke me up was “my throat hurts” and it still hurts pretty badly. The surgery itself went well. They were pretty concerned with how high my pulse was in recovery. Also I developed a temp of just under a 100. But mainly they were concerned because I was bleeding a lot. So they paged the doctor who was at another hospital and he came over to look at it and he said it looked fine and that I didn’t have go back to the OR he said my pulse was ok it was probably just the surgery. After that I was discharged almost immediately. I’m feeling pretty good right now. I took whatever pain meds they gave me through the IV and then I took one narco in day recovery but since I’ve been home I’ve been managing with just Tylenol. But I do have the narco.
