I have always paid on a sliding fee scale. We set a fee on the first day we met and have always kept it that way. I love not having to deal with insurance because I can see him 62,000 and it doesn't matter. We were talking about seeing if I could get any reimbursement. However, the fee I pay is low considering what it could be for an out-of-pocket fee.

The same goes for my pdoc. I was only paying $50, which is phenomenal for a no-insurance payment. Then the center bumped it up to $60. I no longer see him at the center... I see him at his private office, but we just kept it at $60.
