Our handyman/painter and his assistant are either not coming today, or will come later in the afternoon. I appeciate the break. Hubby is anxious this morning, regardless. I told him to take a PRN benzo. I am doing well, comparatively, even having just gotten my period for the first time since August. I guess I am glad to finally have it, but now this means I am ready to prepare for the endo biopsy that I thought I would have had a while back. I need to get some medical stuff over with before my move.

Our prospective new landlord is a little difficult. We've had to make some compromises with her. She also has some silly notion that we should show up face-to-face on November 1 to "meet her" when we officially start renting the new house. As if! Yea, we are really going to fly all the way to Europe (spending money on flights) just to meet her in person, just to have to immediately return to the US... during a pandemic! It's not even like we would be able to shake her hand, or the like, or stand next to her without masks on. Hubby suggested a Zoom meeting instead, and then a face-to-face in December when we will actually move there officially. Also, if needed, we could also ask one of my husband's adult nephews to go there on/near November 1 as our representative, if it's a matter of just collecting keys. But, I think she more just wants to meet Hubby and me. I doubt that she speaks much English, so only Hubby will talk to her in the beginning. I would just stand next to him with a smile on my face (which she wouldn't see because of the mask) and say select polite words or phrases in Czech.
