Hi Dusty and welcome!
I have soo been in your shoes. Being out of work for whatever reason and then being depressed about being out of work...having a hard time getting out to find something. The turning point for me was having to go on unemployment. I know you said you don't qualify for help because you have money in the bank, but I that here in Arizona, you can still get assistance at DES (dept of econimic security) in looking for a job, even if you don't have benefits. Here, you tell someone what you're good at and what might be a possibility for you, and they search a database and print up jobs, tell you where to go to apply etc. I had a job within a week, which I didn't like, but it was money, and it got me motivated enough to get back to doing what i love! Just having found a job gave me some self esteem back, and I was able to get out there again and feel human. Maybe there's a service like that where you are? Or maybe try some volunteer work for now, just to give you some motivation. I would look into what services the department of econimic security offers for non-benefited people. In the meantime, keep coming here! This is a great bunch, and though we may be able to solve your problem, we at least understand and are here to talk. Drop by chat sometime too! Anyway....welcome, post often, and hope we can help!
Rayna
