Well, 6 PM has come and gone with no fires that I am aware of. I checked my area, St. Louis and Weather Underground. All were calm.
While I am grateful there were no fire problems this time, I realize I am better off working to be prepared for any problems as best I can, rather than trying to avoid what scares or upsets me. I think that will bring me more peace of mind.
