Prior to becoming pregnant, anyway, I have been a passionate cyclist for about 10 years. The bottom soreness goes away when your legs get stronger. Personally, I don't like the gel or padded seats - they seem to provide more friction than actually help. The key is to make your legs as strong as possible so that you don't put as much pressure on the seat.
